THE MIGHTY MACS is based on the incredible true story of the 1971-72 Immaculata College team that started in obscurity but became the original Cinderella story in women’s basketball. The film stars Carla Gugino (of HBOs Entourage and Night at the Museum) as coach Cathy Rush, and Academy-award-winnning actor Ellen Burstyn as the Mother Superior. Margaret Anne Florence takes a supporting lead role as the star point guard of the team, Rosemary Keenan.
